This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Estate Administration Lawyer to join a growing Brisbane team and play a key role in the expansion of a well-established Wills & Estates practice. With significant administrative support, a strong referral network and a steady flow of Estate Administration matters, the role offers autonomy, quality work and genuine long-term career development.

The Opportunity

  • Join a growing Brisbane team as the practice expands its Estate Administration offering in the local market
  • Work within a dedicated Wills & Estates group comprising lawyers, senior practitioners and experienced support staff who practise exclusively in this area
  • Manage your own Estate Administration file load with strong paralegal support and access to experienced senior lawyers for mentoring and guidance
  • Build your profile within the Brisbane market while working with an established client base and referral network

The Work

  • Manage a broad range of Estate Administration matters across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria
  • Advise clients on probate applications, letters of administration, intestate estates, estate distributions and executor duties
  • Handle complex and unusual grants while providing practical advice to families and personal representatives
  • Maintain direct client relationships throughout the Estate Administration process from commencement through to final distribution
  • Work closely with support staff to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and delivered to a high standard

  • Supported by a substantial paralegal and administrative team, allowing lawyers to focus on client work and technical matters

About You

  • Admitted lawyer with 5+ years' experience in Estate Administration, succession law or a closely related area
  • Experience advising on probate, estate administration and deceased estate matters in Queensland and/or New South Wales
  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to communicate effectively during sensitive and often emotional circumstances
  • Well-organised, commercially minded and capable of managing matters independently while contributing to a team environment
